Phew! We’ve had a crazy few weeks here at The Pigment Group! If you’ve been following on our instagram, facebook and twitter (you should!), you’d know we were enjoying the festivities of “Swim Week” and “Cabana”down in beautiful Miami last week. One of our favorite trade shows of the year is Cabana. Why, you ask? Multiple reasons: for starters it is in beautiful Miami, there are coconuts, there are an endless amounts of swimsuits and it’s on the sand of sunny South Beach! What more can you ask for? We met some amazing people and were able to see some of our favorite brands, along with new ones. Talking about fun things to see, Pared sponsored the show with the release of a brand new style called the Lime & Coconut. I’m sure you LOVE them as much as we do. These guys will be available mid-October. EiR NYC also sponsored the show with a signature scent. Have you smelt their stuff yet?! It’s amazing. I am addicted to my essential oils. And we’re not the only ones who think so. EiR did a fantastic job keeping the show smelling delightful every step we took. We also paid Artesano, ban.do, and Retromarine a visit multiple times throughout the show. We even picked up a brand new hat and tote bag! Aside from Cabana we were able to see the Lolli Swim and Acaia shows! There were so many more amazing shows that we didn’t get a chance to see but the ones we did, we loved! The Lolli Swim models were even wearing Pared Eyewear! Think cotton candy, lollipops (of course), bikinis, and a lingerie debut. Need we say more? Check out our Instagram for a video of more of the show, a photo doesn’t do it justice. Next up! Acacia Swimwear. Their show was amazing! The venue included. The show was on an open parking garage; cool or what? Not to mention, their swimwear is everything we love and more! Finally, we made our way to Wynwood. We’ve never been and loved it! We visited Concrete Bungalow. Such an awesome mens shop with a woman’s swim pop up right now. They even have a ping pong table in the middle of their store, go play a game and shop for some new Retromarine swim trunks. We ended on a fabulous note: with food. Someone had suggested the Wynwood Diner and thank god we went. They have everything including a wild duck hash, an amazing atmosphere, and even wifi. We were pleasantly surprised. Stay tuned on where we’re headed next! We’ll see you next year down in Miami!
As always, wishing you beachy vibes and sunny skies
